Recruitment levels spike to highest levels since August 2018 according to REC UK Report on Jobs

The recruitment industry is always an accurate economic barometer as illustrated by the March data released today.

The monthly REC UK Report on Jobs shows really positive signs of economic revival following the release of the roadmap out of lockdown.

The spike in March recruitment activity is the highest recorded since August 2018 so is significant.

The uplift in salary expectations is also an interesting sign of confidence in the market returning by candidates and employers.
